The opportunity to present your ideas was a great honor. It’s very refreshing to go to a conference where I’m not hearing the same people I always see at conferences talking about the same things they always talk about.

It was indeed an honor and privilege to participate along with all participants. The experience was indeed enriching and challenging, informative and Inspirational, which will not be easily forgotten.

Thank you again for the opportunity to participate in the Oxford Round Table. It was one of the highlights of my career. I truly enjoyed it.

Thank you so much.  I loved every moment of the Round Table on Health and Prevention.  I learned a great deal and was stimulated to do research.  The presentations were well done and brought forward excellent, high level discussion.  I met such wonderful colleagues in all areas of health and will stay in touch with them as we help each other with the many health challenges that face our institutions.  I am grateful to have been a participant and would love to be invited back again.

The Round Table format was perfect from my perspective. The opportunity to present your ideas was well organized and orchestrated. The presentations were well done, informative and a valid learning experience in a wide variety of topics.

The concept of the Round Table format IS excellent.  Seldom does one have such an opportunity to dialogue with a presenter as well as other participants at conferences.  This format permitted us time to ask questions, exchange ideas, identify areas of overlap and alignment, and to consider other perspectives for further research.

May I say what a fabulous time I had! The entire occasion, including the goodly crew picked, was memorable.

Overall Rating of the Round Table experience was excellent.  I had a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience and would highly recommend it to my colleagues!

The opportunity to present your ideas was an honor and privilege.  I had not delved into my writing for a few years and this experience has re-energized me.

The concept of the Round Table format was excellent. Most conferences that I’ve attended have been fragmented into small groups.  Keeping the entire “round table” together through thick and thin helped to establish collegiality.  I developed a number of excellent relationships with fellow participants.

The concept of the Round Table format put everyone on an equal footing and was conducive to a more conversational, less formal atmosphere.

The Round Table format was excellent.  I especially appreciated the intense format the first days and then more time for informal discussions later in the week.  Having many papers with discussion afterward helped me to understand the issues surrounding the topic from many perspectives.

The presentations were of appropriate length, topic oriented and with time for questions.

Overall rating of the Round Table experience was excellent.  Keep up the good work!

I had a wonderful time.  Thanks to you and your staff for all the hard work in getting these together.  I really hope that one person from our institution will be able to attend each year.

The concept of the Round Table format was brilliant and inspired!  A delightful blend of intellects and areas of academic interest.  We all learned from each other – the specializations were varied but always relevant.

The presentations were fascinating, thrilling on occasion, full of wonderful ideas, intriguing, diverse, and intellectually stimulating.  Thanks ever so much for this opportunity.

The presentations were very professional.  Every presenter put their heart and soul into making it a good event.

There was a wonderful chemistry with our group.  The conversations were stimulating, and people certainly represented different viewpoints. There was a great deal of civil discourse.  And almost all of us reported learning something new about the other side of the debates.

It was really a rewarding time – the “Oxford experience” itself was great; it was very collegial.

I found the entire experience professionally invigorating.  All the wonderful people I met, the quality of information shared, and the high caliber of Round Table staff, all combined to create a unique experience I shall always cherish.

It was a wonderful experience – one of the highlights of my career.  Thank you for the invitation and I certainly hope that I will be able to join you again.

I have been to England several times before.  Without a doubt, this conference was my best England experience to date.

The small number of participants is an excellent format. We had the feeling that we were well taken care of at all times.

It was indeed wonderful!

When the High Lama asked him whether Shangri-La was not unique in his experience, and if the Western world could offer anything in the least like it, he answered with a smile:
“Well, yes – to be quite frank it reminds me very slightly of Oxford.”

“Lost Horizon” (1933) chapter 9

What a joy to meet all the quality and special Round Table Members of 2007 and to experience your scholarly expertise!

Having attended the previous year's session, I must say that the latest was the most intellectually charged that I experienced.

The week at Oxford remains in my memory with a special warmth.
